A-A announces Wales & Ireland 2008 Regional Meeting dates!

Ireland: Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast - 18th February 2009 - NEW DATE!
These meetings are aimed at all those involved in providing a service and care of patients with cardiac arrhythmias including... clinicians, GPs, cardiac networks, arrhythmia nurses, industry members, charitable organisations, patient groups.

Defibrillators

Defibrillators are devices that apply sharp electrical shocks to the heart when its beating becomes dangerously rapid or chaotic. The shocks can restore normal heart rhythms before the malfunctioning heart suffers sudden cardiac arrest, a seizure than can lead to death within minutes.
